Parents with children on the spectrum face difficult challenges that seem impossible to understand and work through.  1 Joh 4:4 says, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." God has equipped us to achieve what He asks of us. Fear and faith repel each other. Have faith in God. Trust God to instruct and guide you in all things. God showed me early on what I must do to help our child develop, grow and thrive in all things to have the life they want.  I understood the behavioral challenges, and my child was not one. They do not define who she is or what life she will have. Instead, these challenges were hills and valleys that exposed their character, gifts, and strengths that would lead to her success just like any other child. And when I felt a little overwhelmed, God had a way of showing me that my struggles were not as bad as I perceived them to be.  It can be a struggle to see challenges through God's perspective, according to what His word says.  But when we do, as it says in Romans 8:28, "... all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
